1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BUILDYARD ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

BUILDYARD is a marketplace connecting customers, builders, and suppliers. The Platform facilitates communication, quoting, and project configuration but does not itself provide building, construction, or supply services.

3. User Accounts & Roles

Users may register as a Customer, Builder, or Supplier. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Estimates & Pricing Disclaimer

All prices, quotes, and estimates displayed on BUILDYARD — including those generated by configurators, posted in the Quote Center, or shown on builder profiles — are non-binding estimates only. Actual costs may vary based on site conditions, material availability, labor requirements, and other factors. BUILDYARD does not guarantee any pricing and is not a party to any agreement between customers and builders or suppliers.

5. Builder & Supplier Listings

BUILDYARD does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the qualifications, licensing, insurance, or quality of any builder or supplier listed on the Platform. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into agreements with any service provider.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (text, photos, quotes). By posting, you grant BUILDYARD a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the Platform. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes on the rights of others.

7. Messaging

The messaging system is provided for Platform-related communication. You agree not to use it for spam, harassment, or unsolicited commercial messages.

8. Limitation of Liability

BUILDYARD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BUILDYARD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to disputes between users, property damage, or financial losses from reliance on estimates.

9. Termination

BUILDYARD may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that engage in activity harmful to the Platform or its users.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
